Reader Reviews
"This is one of the best Christian Fiction books I have read. Seriously--most of the books I pick up to read, I'll read a few chapters and stop because for me they are either too somber or too superficial, or characters are not developed or real, or the type of story has been done over and over, or the writing is not very dynamic.
This story is really good...These are the reasons I like it so much: this book made me chuckle, made me tear up, made me disgusted, made me wonder what's going to happen next, and made me grow closer to the characters. All of the main characters have their own unique personalities, struggles, senses of humor, and strengths that endeared me to them. They were so real that you'd think they were part of your own family or old friends. That's what makes the best part of a book--characters you can relate to and struggles or triumphs you can identify with in some way.
The story is always going, there's no dead space in this book. It's written in such a way that no aspect of the book overshadows another--except for the bond and story of the characters. The mystery doesn't take over, the historical WWII period is prominent in the story, but it's not all about WWII--it's about how a group of friends and family triumph over the darkness of the time and about doing what is right, not only for your fellow countrymen, but all people.
The love story between Zeke and Cody is both sweet and courageous and you can feel the heartfelt emotions they have for each other and their family. They grow throughout the book, which is what I really like to see in stories.
This story would make a great movie. It was written so well I could see it like a movie in my mind. Looking forward to reading the next stories in the series!" ~Freedomswings, The Battle review
"I loved this book! It was fun and quirky. Couldn't wait to pick it up each night to see what would happen next." ~Amazon Customer, Legend review
"This was a surprising retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Instead of occurring in the past, it happens in a distant future where magic exists. Also, everyone knows the curse exists and it affects the whole town. I really liked this version. I've read many retelling of this story because it's my favorite fairy tale and I would happily place this version near the top. I definitely recommend this retelling." ~Gilda Rodriguez, Second Kingdom review
"Now this was a very twisted fairy tale. And we are left with questions still. It definitely wasn't what I thought it would be like. The characters were masterfully done and even though I didn't like one or two of them the reason became clear later on. I can't get over how different the story is from what we usually know." ~Brittany, 7 Assassins review
"Realm Walk kept me interested the entire time I was reading. It's not your typical fairy tale and has a ton of action as well as twists and turns. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes different takes on classic fairy tales. Also, because it's a novella, it didn't take long to read." ~Sarah K., Realm Walk review
"Have you ever asked yourelf, what if not David but Bathseba had written the Psalms? What would they look like? Where would be the mainpoint in the prayers and Psalms? If you want to find inspiring answers and modern Poetry, I highly recommend this book, if you like poetry inspired by the holy spirit, just buy your copy and have a good time." ~W.Susanne, He Delivers Me review
"To sum it up in one word: meaningful. We’ve all had the experiences of crushes, first love, and love lost. The author puts these feelings and more into words that flow eloquently across the page. I also recently used several poems from this collection during a restorative yoga class as a kind of meditation. Following the class, a few participants commented on how much they enjoyed the poems." ~Kristen B., Broken Hearts Can Still Love review
"I loved this book! It was fresh, new, and truly from the heart! Simply a wonderful read. Keep writing, I’m looking forward to your next book!" ~Elmer, Beginnings review
